A New Visco-elasto-plastic Rheological Model of Rock

Abstract: According to the rheological mechanical properties of rock, a visco-plastic model which depicts the creep acceleration stage of rock is proposed. This model is connected with five-component visco-elastic shear rheological model in series, thus establishing a new visco-elasto-plastic rheological model of rock. The shear rheological curves of granite is used to identify the visco-elasto-plastic rheological model, and the rheological parameters of the model are obtained. Comparison between the model fitted result and the shear rheology test result shows that the accelerating rheological properties of rock can be described effectively by this visco-elasto-plastic rheological model.
