Abstract: As one of the most widely used tunnel seismic reflection methods, TSP (tunnel seismic prediction) is often improperly operated in its field application, which reduces the prediction accuracy and exerts unfavorable influence on the tunnel construction. Based on the theory of TSP, methods of improving prediction accuracy are put forward from  aspects of the receiving quality of reflection seismic wave and the blasting seismic strength. The main methods include the determination of best searching angles, the qualified coupling of receiving hole and boreholes, the satisfactory working circumstance, the selection of short delay error electric detonator and appropriate borehole explosive dosage. The research results are applied to field practice, and helps accumulate experience and provide reference for tunnel geological prediction.
