Measure-Control System in Physical Model of Poyang Lake: Design and Implementation

Abstract: A set of advanced measure-control system is necessary to better carry out research on the physical model of Poyang Lake. As the largest outdoor physical model of lake and river in China, the physical model of Poyang Lake has higher requirements on the reliability of measure-control system and outdoor lightning performance. The measure-control system is composed of water supplying system, flow control system, water level and flow velocity measurement system, tail gate control system, lightning protection and grounding system, topographic survey system and so on. This paper briefly introduces the working principle, design scheme and application of the measuring subsystem. Equipped with modern network technology and high performance automatic measuring instruments, the model is of improved measure-control functions, such as real-time data acquisition, control and data processing of various parameters in the model test. Test results show that the measure-control system could meet the requirements of model test.
