Abstract: GB-SAR (Ground Based Synthetic Aperture Radar) system could perform all-day, all-weather, non-contact and highly accurate deformation monitoring. In the present research, we employed GB-SAR to monitor the deformation at Geheyan Dam, and analyzed the impact of environmental factors on the monitoring result. Moreover, methods of environment correction were compared. By analyzing the correction results. we selected corresponding correction methods. Results show that the deformation information of the entire dam surface can be reflected accurately with the monitoring data corrected by the environmental correction methods, and these corrected data can be used for analyzing the stability of the dam.
