Abstract: A hydraulic system working in centrifugal field of big g-force is developed for the centrifuge test. In this system, boat-shaped supporting frame is designed. To get smooth movement, double guideways are fixed on the frame, with one driven by a hydraulic cylinder, the other floating connected with an assistant beam. For signal control, host and lower computers communicating with wireless router solve the problem of signal loss in traditional connection by collecting ring. This system is applied to the test device of geotechnical centrifuge, and it meets the requirements of the device by walking and positioning in a length of 1m with a load of 400kg in centrifugal field of 100g. Compared with traditional motor or air driven mechanism, this hydraulic system has stronger load bearing capability and higher reliability working in centrifugal field of big g-force.
