Discussion on Method of Determining the Control Ranges of Hydraulic Concrete’s Strength with 28d-Age

Abstract: To improve the quality control for the concrete production of a large hydropower project in southwest China, we discussed the method of determining the standard value of long-age (28d) hydraulic concrete’s cubic compressive strength and the recommendation control ranges, and then proposed their formulas. Finally, we gave engineering application examples to validate the calculation methods and the results could be used to guide the quality control of hydraulic concrete production.
