白鹤滩水电站柱状节理玄武岩卸荷损伤数值试验研究

Numerical Study on Unloading Damage of ColumnarJointed Basalt at Baihetan Hydropower Station

摘要: 白鹤滩水电站坝基的柱状节理玄武岩具有明显的卸荷损伤特性。为研究这类特殊岩体的卸荷损伤规律,通过变形试验和强度试验获取卸荷过程中柱状节理刚度和强度的定量表达式,并结合离散元方法提出了一种考虑岩体卸荷损伤的数值算法。在此基础上,建立了柱状节理玄武岩的离散元数值模型,开展开挖卸荷过程中柱状节理玄武岩力学特性的损伤规律研究。数值结果表明:岩体卸荷参量从6.0 MPa卸载到1.0 MPa的过程中,柱状节理玄武岩竖直向和水平向的弹性模量分别降低64.8%和86.3%;黏聚力分别降低18.3%和46.1%;内摩擦角分别降低8.4%和64.7%;柱状节理玄武岩具有显著的卸荷损伤特性,在开挖卸荷过程中变形参数和强度参数均有较大幅度的降低,且水平方向的降低程度大于竖直方向。研究成果可为工程开挖方式和支护形式的选取提供有益参考。

Abstract: Unloading damage characteristics of columnar jointed basalt was obvious at Baihetan hydropower station. In the aim of obtaining the unloading damage law of this special rock mass, deformation and strength tests were both conducted to obtain the quantitative expressions of columnar joint’s stiffness and strength during unloading test, and then a numerical calculation method in consideration of unloading damage was proposed in association with element method. On this basis, a discrete element numerical model of columnar jointed basalt was established for the research of damage law of columnar jointed basalt during excavation-induced unloading. Results revealed that in the process of unloading parameter decreasing from 6.0 MPa to 1.0 MPa, vertical and horizontal elastic moduli reduced by 64.8% and 86.3%, respectively, cohesive forces in the two directions reduced by 18.3% and 46.1%, respectively, and angles of internal friction decreased by 8.4% and 64.7%, respectively. In other words, the unloading damage characteristics of columnar jointed basalt was significant, and the deformation and strength parameters both reduced remarkably during unloading and the reduction was more serious in horizontal direction than that in vertical direction. The study results could be taken as reference for selecting excavation types and supporting forms in similar projects.
