Abstract: The new grouting materials and technologies used for foundation treatment have been systemically studied from 1995 for TGP construction. Especially the special study of fault reinforcing treatment like f215，f1096，f1050 etc. has been made. By using fine ground cement and chemical compound grouting technologies, the mechanics characteristic of foundation rock has been improved in a great zone, so the fault zones and soft interlayers have been formed aconsecutive, intact and hard rock body. It has successfully resolved the problem of fault reinforcing treatment in TGP.
