Research on Intelligent Earth-rock Volume Allocation System for Shuibuya Concrete Face Rockfill Dam

Abstract

Total excavation volume of Shuibuya Project exceeds 20 million cubic meters and total filling volume of the dam is more than 15.60 million cubic meters. Its whole process and technic-economic benefit are considerably influenced by the earth-rock volumes allocation problem. Through analyzing the features of earth-rock volumes allocation of Shuibuya Project, an intelligent earth-rock volume allocation system was developed to model earth-rock allocation in construction. The results of computer simulation are technically feasible and better than those of traditional ways, and the response time of the database system is about 0.5-1.0 second.
