Abstract: Total excavation volume of Shuibuya Project exceeds 20 million cubic meters and total filling volume of the dam is more than 15.60 million cubic meters. Its whole process and technic-economic benefit are considerably influenced by the earth-rock volumes allocation problem. Through analyzing the features of earth-rock volumes allocation of Shuibuya Project, an intelligent earth-rock volume allocation system was developed to model earth-rock allocation in construction. The results of computer simulation are technically feasible and better than those of traditional ways, and the response time of the database system is about 0.5-1.0 second.
