Abstract: On the basis of the theory of unsaturated soils, thpaper discusses the air-water transform of unsaturated soils, its strength, and stability analysis in the dike of the Yangtze River. The short-cut formala of shear strength of unsaturated soil is emphatically presented, the compact of suction force on the shear strength is considered in stability analysis, and the concerned programs are more resonalde.
