Abstract: This is a comprehensive article concerning geo-environmental engineering problems. At the first, the concept of "geo-environmental engineering" is briefly introduced. Then, as an important aspect of geo-environment, the techniques for city landfill and related problems are discussed, including the main points of design and construction, geosynthetic application in landfill, and the developement of landfill.
