For giving play to the technical characteristic of a programmable computer controller (PCC), and on the basis of full considering the advantages of both PLC and IPC tubine governors, a new type governor which uses computer hard platform as a programmable computer controller (PCC) was proposed. The regulating apparatus consists of a PP41 controller, an AI354 input module with four-channel analogs, an AO352 output module with two-channel analogs, DI138 input module with ten-channel switching signals and a RS232 interface module marked IF321. The main treatment instrument of PP41 uses chip 68322 produced by Motorola Co. with 32 bit CPU. The product not only possesses the hardware reliability of PLC governor, but also has the large capacity and high speed of industry PC governor. It can be predicated that PCC hydraulic turbine governor has wide application prospects.
