Abstract: This paper elucidates the development situation, structure, function and characteristics of HPMIS(Huixu Project management information system). It is concluded that an enough demand analysis is the basis of developing successfully HPMIS, and an united development is the effective approach of developing this system. This system has been safely, stably operated for over one year. It is still in perfect order, and can enhance the management level of the large engineering.
