Abstract: Turbulence characteristics of flow in rectangle flume were studied with a MicroADV system. Period, frequency, period function and probability density function of turbulence coherent structure were described by means of quantitative analysis. And the distributions of time average velocities, turbulent intensities and Reynolds stresses along depth were further analyzed and calculated. The researches in this paper provide data for studying water flow turbulent structure and the movement mechanism of suspended sediment and deepen the understand of turbulent structure.
