Abstract: This paper gives the basic theory and computation method of high-steep rocky slope under earthquake loads and the formulae for evaluating slope stability. By numerical analyses of transient procass and spectrum, the dynamic characteristics, seismic responses,and reservation ratios of shearing strength of Mayan high-steep rocky slope are presented. The results can be used for seismic safety assessment of high-steep rocky slope.
