Abstract: Deformation monitoring and analysis are important contents of dam safety monitor ing.Pendulum wire is one of the monitoring methods of dam that have been used wi dely. From several observed points set inside dam body,information about dam safety co ndition can be known.In this paper,deformation monitoring statistical model's d evelopment has been described based on the former work and authors' recent rese arch.Then,for better analyzing the monitoring information,four kinds of statisti cal models that can be used in pendulum data analysis are summed up and explaine d here with practical examples.These models are useful to analyze pendulum defor mation overall and can be selected in practical data analysis according to diffe rent conditions.
