Abstract: R500B shake table installed on IWHR 450 g t geotechnical centrifuge is the first and largest earthquake simulator capable of simulating earthquake in both horizontal and vertical directions in the world. This paper presents the coherence analysis between the exciting waveform and output earthquake waveform based on available experiment data. The shaking mode includes horizontal excitation, vertical excitation and both excitation simultaneously  by using an artificial earthquake wave with a frequency range of 90~ 350 Hz, and the payload is 443 kg in a 30 g centrifugal gravity field. Simulation of a sine wave of 120 Hz is also analyzed. It’s shown that R500B shake table has good capability of modeling complex earthquake and sine waves.
