以广西海相淤泥为例，根据三轴等向固结不排水试验分析了淤泥的应力应变关系；通过标准固结试验分析了变形与压力的关系，固结系数与压力的关系；通过较长期的次固结试验分析了固结压力与次固结系数的关系，预压对次固结系数的影响。试验结果表明：海相淤泥的应力应变呈双曲线关系；当固结应力超过前期固结应力后，海相淤泥固结系数的变化并不大；海相淤泥的次固结系数与固结压力无关，相同固结压力作用下经过预压的淤泥的次固结系数比没有经过预压的淤泥的次固结系数大大减小，预压可以减少海相淤泥地基的次固结沉降。

This paper studies the relation of stress-strain by triaxial compression test, the relation between deformation and pressure, and the relation between the coefficient of consolidation and pressure through standard consolidation test, and analyzes the relation between the coefficient of secondary consolidation and consolidation pressure based on Guangxi marine ooze. The test results indicate that the relation of stress-strain of marine ooze is hyperbola; the coefficient of consolidation is a constant after the consolidation pressure exceeds the preconsolidation pressure ; the coefficient of secondary consolidation have nothing to do with the consolidation pressure; the coefficient of secondary consolidation of marine ooze greatly decreases after it is subjected to prepressing, and prepressing could reduce secondary settlement of marine ooze.
