The Hubei Journal Association announced the results of the 11th “Outstanding Journals in Hubei Province” and the 7th “Outstanding Journal Workers in Hubei Province” (including “Outstanding Young Editors of Hubei Journals”) selection activities (Hubei Journal Association [2020] No. 06 document “Decision on Commendation for the 11th Outstanding Journals in Hubei Province”).
The Journal of Changjiang River Scientific Research Institute achieved another remarkable success by winning the “Most Influential Academic Journal in Hubei Province” award in this selection activity, following its previous honors as “High-Quality Journal in Hubei Province” and “Featured Column of Hubei Journals” in 2017. Editor Chen Min was awarded the 7th “Outstanding Young Editor of Hubei Journals”.
The selection of outstanding journals in Hubei Province is one of the most authoritative journal evaluation activities in the province, with more than 400 publicly distributed journals participating. After preliminary evaluation by the professional committee, secondary evaluation by expert judges, review by the Hubei Provincial Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film, and Television, and public announcement of the results, a total of 20 journals were awarded the “Most Influential Academic Journal in Hubei Province” award, accounting for 5% of the total number of journals in the province.
