Journal of CRSRI included in WJCI Report 2020

  • Recently, the editorial department of “Journal of Changjiang River Scientific Research Institute” received a notification that the Journal has been selected for the “World Journal Citation Impact (WJCI) Report” (2020 Technology Edition). This marks the third consecutive inclusion of the Journal in the report since its establishment in 2018.

The WJCI Report is jointly developed by the China Scientific and Technological Information Research Institute, China Academic Journals (CD Edition) Electronic Magazine Co., Ltd., Tsinghua University Library, Wanfang Data Co., Ltd., and the China Association for Science and Technology Periodicals. The selection of source journals is based on four dimensions: R&D investment, scientific paper output, number of researchers, and journal scale and level.

The WJCI Report includes a total of 21,080 scientific journals from around the world, including 1,426 Chinese scientific journals, with 53 of them being in the field of water conservancy engineering, including 24 from mainland China. After expert review, these journals are generally recognized to meet the standards of international excellent journals.

The achievement of the Journal of CRSRI cannot be separated from the strong support of its editorial board, reviewers, authors, and readers over the years. The editorial department of the Journal of CRSRI  will carry out its editing and publishing work with a more rigorous and pragmatic attitude, conscientiously implementing the “16-character” approach to water management, and actively contributing to the high-quality development of the water conservancy industry in the new era.
