摘要: 较为系统地阐述了部分前人关于植被结构与水土保持功能效应、植被结构指标与评价、植被水土保持效益评价的研究成果。分析指出,我国南方红壤丘陵区水土流失形势依然严峻是由于林下存在着不同程度的水土流失,正确评价植被的水土保持功能成为水土保持管理及学科发展的需要。旨在综合已有的研究经验和成果,促进今后相关研究的发展。

Abstract: The authors systematically analyzed previous researches on the vegetation structure and water-soil conservation, the vegetation structural index and its appraisal, and the evaluation of vegetation’s soil and water conservation benefit. It’s pointed out that the soil and water loss is still serious in the red soil regions in south China because there are losses of under-forest soil in varying degrees without close-cover of vegetation. Therefore, rational evaluation of the soil and water conservation function of vegetation is critical to the management of soil and water conservation and the subject development.
