Application of Polyurethane Grouting Material Modified by Silicate to the Reinforcement of Coal Mine’s Roadway

Abstract: The present research is aimed at problems in the chemical material and the technology of coal rock mass reinforcement in coal mines of China. The reaction mechanism of polyurethane grouting material modified by silicate is introduced, and the reinforcing polyurethane grouting material and foaming polyurethane grouting material both modified by silicate are developed. Details of their performance are presented. The materials have been applied to field practice, and are proved to be superior in the treatment of roadway roof collapse and the reinforcement of crushed coal and rock mass. It could be used to replace the current polyurethane grouting material, and provides technical support for the high yield and high efficiency of modern coal enterprises.
