Cracks in concrete structures are unavoidable, the reasons occurring cracks are complex, and their forms are multiplex. Because cracks in the dam concrete panels would directly affect the durability and service life of the panel, appropriate treatment is necessary. The paper introduces the distribution and characteristics of cracks on the concrete panels of some project, gives a preliminary analysis on the formation of cracks ； it refers the experience of similar projects, proposes different treatment standards of two types of cracks ； and it describes the performance indexes and their application scopes of four major materials used in concrete crack treatment, and represents the construction processes, quality controls and effectiveness detection of two types of cracks.
