Abstract: The river closure constructions in three times on Yangtze River, including the main channel closure of the Gezhouba Project, the river closure of the Three Gorges Project and the diversion open channel closure of the Three Gorges Project, represent the latest technology and the development direction of river closure around the world. On the basis of analysis of the construction characteristics of the river closure in three times and evaluations of their technical levels, the author summarized the new construction technologies, latest progresses and development trends of river closure. These results may provide references for relative works in the future.
