Abstract

In this paper , the Huangshi City (including Huang Shigang District , Xisaishan District , Xialu District and Tieshan District) was taken as the research object. By means of SPOT5 remote sensing data on January 27 , 2009 and December 16 , 2008 , in combination with topographic map of the study districts and the registration of mining rights and other related information ,an assessment system of the mine geological environment was established. With contraposing various indexes, the GIS and RS extraction methods appropriate to every index were proposed and the single factor graduation map was obtained . Analytic hierarchy process(AHP) method was applied to give the weight of every index factor. Then, the grid operation of GIS was applied ,based on classification system of evaluation index and comprehensive evaluation model of mine geological environment, to make the zoning map of mine geological environment of Huangshi City. The results provide an useful reference for mine geological environment protection and recovery and management planning , as well as establish certain theoretical basis for mine geological environment evaluation and research.
