Abstract

The oil and gas pipeline (OGP) construction, as a typical linearity project, the construction and operation of OGP will cause a series of disturbances to the regional natural ecosystem and social environment, especially the regional soil and water loss. These would influence the regional sustainable development. In this paper the eco  environmental influence of oil and gas pipe construction (OGPC) is taken as breakthrough point and, in view of the features of OGPC, the typical characteristics of soil and water loss caused by OGPC are analyzed. Furthermore, the strategy and methods of preventing OGP from losses of water and soil are discussed and can be used as a scientific reference.
