Abstract: To take South-to-North Water Transfer Project’s middle route and east route for an example， the influences on Yangtze River estuary’s flow character after transferring water are analyzed. The results show that the amount of runoff incoming water will decreased， rising tide force increase， falling tide force decrease and tidal stage， current velocities，diversion ratios of every channel correspondingly change after transferring water，but there will be only little variation overall.
