Study on Reliability of Displacement Controlled of Aqueduct Structure System under Wind Load

Abstract

Taking the layer-to-layer displacement and top displacement of an aqueduct frame structure as a control index in the paper, the reliability model of an aqueduct structure controlled by horizontal displacement under wind load is presented. According to the specifications of the relative code and statistical characteristics of design parameters, the reliabilities of displacement controlled of the aqueduct structural system under wind load is studied using the method in combination Monte-Carlo simulation with finite element. A controlling index value 1∶550 for the layer-to-layer displacement and top displacement of an aqueduct structure is recommended.
