Abstract

Long nut posts and rotary locking short rods are adopted in TGP ship lift safety mechanism. The structure is complex, difficult to construct, and moreover, there are no systematic experience, no any case and no a special specification to use for reference. There exist three important technology issues concerned by designers and experts, i.e. whether the grouting process is able to ensure the compactibility and the fluidity of the grouting materials, whether the grouting materials is able to transfer the 1 500 kN load, and how the effect of the prestressed bolts and prestressed reinforcements on framework is. Therefore, the scale 1∶1 structure model was made to simulate the above mentioned status experiments. The results of the test
