Abstract: The paper mainly researches the method of GPS technology used in landslide monitoring, gives the all process according to the monitoring of Kaziwan landslide in the Three Gorges Reservoir area, including technology design of monitoring network, field survey, data processing and deformation analysis, and points out several problems to need to be specially noted. The results indicate that GPS static positioning technology can reach the precision of milli-meter, and fully meet the requirements of high-precision deformation monitoring.
