Research on Soil and Water Conservation Plan of FloodDetention in Yangtze River Basin

Abstract

According to the basic circumstances and ranges of the flood detention in Yangtze River basin, the author analyses the actualities of landuse and soil and water loss, as well as possibly occurring hazards. The flood detention engineering is divided into four soil and water conservation areas, such as Jinjiang district, Chenglingji district, Wuhan district and Hukou district. The concrete ecological restoration measure, preventive supervision measure, soil and water conservation plan, and establishing an integrate prevention system including botanical measure and engineering measure are presented. According to the progress, a key flood detention regulation will be carried out in phases by a scheduling planning divided into near 10year and longterm.
