Abstract: A 2D numerical model with fine conservation was established for simulating the current and temperature field, bodyfitted triangle mesh was used to discrete computation area and finite volume method was applied to solve the water depth integral equations. The simulated results agreed well with the measured data, so the rationality of the model was certified. The current and temperature fields were simulated to forecast the temperature distribution around the plant, and the results provided references for power station design and environmental assessment.
