Abstract: Soil moisture is a key index for the dry monitoring of an irrigation district. Nowadays, it is very practical and economical to choose remote sensing data as the data source to monitor the soil moisture in the irrigation district. In this paper, an synchronous approach combining ground spectrum sampling data and soil sampling data is proposed, which was used for monitoring the soil moisture of the Zhanghe Irrigation District, and the data obtained from this method were? analyzed quantitatively. At the end, a distributing chart presenting? surface soil moisture in this irrigation district is obtained according to the synchronous remote sensing images.
