Abstract: In this paper, the environmental water demand in the upstream of Hanjiang River is studied. Three methods,namely,Q90 method, tennant method and wet perimeter method are used to calculate the environmental water demand, and then the recommended environmental water demands obtained from the results of the above three methods are given.
