In order to promote the informationalization work of Yangtze River Scientific Research Institute (YRSRI), the present situations of archives, books and periodicals, electronic readings, sharing information and data retrieval through Internet are presented from the view - point of literature information resources, and the strategies and contents of infrastructure construction are discussed. The effect analysis shows that, in the infrastructure construction of scientific research literature information, the planning shall lead the whole, and the demands guide the construction, that more complete resources system can be formed by means of resources complementary, and that, in accordance with the demands of scientific research development informationalization, the literature information system for water conservancy sector shallbe established as soon as possible.
