Abstract

In this paper, the authors analyze the kinds, characters and relations of the Yangtze River embankment engineering geological data, and, from the view of information management for drainage area embankment, conclude and design a data management model and a data processing flow Chart and a working flow chart for the geological information system of Yangtze River embankment engineering. Adopting the module of dynamic engineering management, dynamic subject attribute-space database and data application techniques concerning database, the authors establish a geological information system of drainage area embankment engineering. This system integrates GIS and DBMS and CADS technologies etc., and sums up the common methods of ensuring the consistency, integrality, veracity and security of data for drainage area embankment, and effectively manages 230 G engineering geology data
