The superiorities of the polymer cement mortar used in concrete destruction patching are elaborated by analysing the experimental data showing the polymer cement mortar mechanic performances. In combination with the aging and flaws of hydraulic structure concrete, two kinds of polymer cement mortars were developed, the construction techniques were provided and they have been applied in several projects, and have received good economical and social effects. Through many project applications and long-term performance testing, it is proved that the polymer cement mortar is one kind of ideal concrete patching and shielding material.
