Experimentation on Judging Standard of Blasting Vibration Safetyin High Slope Excavation of Xiaowan Hydropower Station

Abstract

The geological structure character was analyzed about high slope on Xiaowan Hydropower Station. Blasting test in construction field , vibration monitoring, contrast tests of wave velocity before and after blasting, and macro-survey for the Xiaowan Hydropower Station were performed. Compared with similar engineering experiences, the blasting safety controlled standard of wave velocity inside rock for Xiaowan Hydropower Station is as follows: for minutely weathered rock, v=15-20 cm/s; for weakly weathered rock, v =10-15 cm/s; for strong weathered rock, v =10 cm/s. The test results were verified in construction site and considered to be rational.
