Set pair analysis (SPA) is a new idea for the treatment of indeterminate problem. A new model for evaluating the region eco-carrying capacity was built up by SPA. Identity, discrepancy and contrary between evaluated objects and criterion were described by contact coefficients. The evaluated result shows relations between two sets. Dynamic contact coefficients were given. The analysis on the integrative assessment of eco-carrying capacity of Yancheng Citys coastal wetland was conducted by this method, the result coincides with the practical situation of this area, and agress with that obtained by radial base-function, and the SPA possesses the characteristic of definite idea, simple computation and comprehensive information.
