Abstract: In water conservancy and hydropower projects, the par ameter selection of rock mechanics is one of key questions in the stability ana lysis and consolidation design of dam foundation, slopes and underground grottos . Through summarizing the domestic and foreign information in the present resear ch of parameter selection of rock mechanics, the existing problems are pointed o ut, and its research orientation and countermeasures needed to be solved are pr oposed.
