Abstract: For solving the existing problems of machine braking and electrical braking during the process of stoppage of a turbogenerator set, a magnetic reducing method is recommended, which can greatly reduce the current of  generators at switch due to remainder magnetic and abate the demand for braking switch. So the isolator can satisfy the demand of braking of a turbogenerator set.
