Abstract: Based on the theory of moving force identification and the characteristic of moving constant axle loads, a new fast and simplified algorithm is proposed for the moving force identification. Under the 12 combination cases of two - axle loading as well as the 10 combination cases of multi - axle loading, some numerical simulations we re carried out and compared with the existing time domain method (TDM). The illustrated results show that the computation cost of the proposed method is less than half of the TDM cost, especially for the cases of multi - axle loading. The identification accuracy is significantly higher than that of the TDM, and it is almost not affected by the noise involved in the measured response data. The proposed algorithm is beneficial to the real time analysis of moving force identification in the field.
