Abstract: The spatial data management mode based on Oracle Spatial has been accepted gradually by the mass of GIS softwares, but the tool which provides the conversion from MAPGIS Data to Oracle Spatial has not turned up. Aiming at the problem, the article analyzes the structural features of the MAPGIS data and Oracle Spatial database, and then realizes the spatial data conversion from MAPGIS data to Oracle Spatial.
