Study on Standard of Acoustic Velocity for Concrete Quality of TGP

Abstract

Through the comparison of test results of compression strength and acoustic velocity for the concrete test samples used in TGP with different design grades, condensation periods and size distributions, and in combination with acoustic velocity tests in situ, the influences of concrete strength, condensation period and size distribution on acoustic velocity in concrete were discussed. Based on the current acceptable criterion of concrete, the standard of detecting concrete quality with acoustic velocity used in TGP was proposed.The standard has been used in detecting concrete quality of TGP and is considered to be feasible. 
