Abstract

For monitoring the effects of anchorage of the anchor bars buried in the high slope of TGP permanent lock, 32 anchor stress-meters were installed in partial cross-soctions. Among them, the tensile stress in 3 instruments was over 30 MPa, the pressure stress in 4 instruments more than 30 MPa, and the absolute values of the rest were lower than 20 MPa. The monitoring results show that most of anchor bar stresses are stable basically and the stresses in anchor rods small. A statistics model was established by analyzing superposition streses caused by deformation and by temperature. It was concluded from analysis that the increments of trend component in recent 3 years were 2.34 MPa, 1.85 MPa and 1.53 MPa,respectively. These data indicate that the deformation of the high slope with anchor bars tends towards stability.
