Abstract

The new suspended supporting structure was used in the high water head and high rotational speed turbine unit in the underground powerhouse of Zhouning Power Station. As these thin structures are usually sensitive to vibration, the dynamic response of concrete supporting structures of suspended hydrogenerating unit was analysed with 3D FEM. Detailed vibration characteristics of the supporting structures were given and through calculation of comparative schemes,an optimum scheme with reasonable treatment measures was proposed.
