Abstract: As there is not yet a universal type of industrial display control panel matching the hydrological regime remote monitoring, a new panel STAR 200 is developed by adopting 78E58 CPU. With many transmit protocols and interfaces, the panel is convenient to form many configurations for software. Through the keyboard in the panel, the data can be set and renovated; Leakance protection and Chinese characters display system are also equipped and the panel can work under different electrical potentials. Its applications show that the STAR 200 panel can satisfy many demands under different working conditions
