In the condition of accidental water-losing from shipchamber of TGP's ship-lift, the stability against longitudinal inclination of ship-chamber, champing loads and the variation of lifting tensile forces in steel cables under the clamping state,suspension state and simulated guidebearing resistance state respectively were studied on the TGP's vertical comprehensive model with a 1∶25 scale.It may be found from the test that when the ship-chamber occurs a serious water-losing accident, it will not get out of control so long as the clamping-locking system of the ship-lift can be started quickly and the clamping device may experience the maxium clamping-force.In the meantime, for assuring its safe operation, another reliable sfeguard measures must be set.
