Abstract: Uplift pressure of dam affects the dam stability. This paper presents an analysis method for calculating the utmost uplift pressure beneath dam by a numerical model based on observed data in combination with probabilily computation.An illustration shows that it is feasible for evaluating the utmost uplift pressure of dam with certain probability level.
