Simplified analysis on joint reinforcement of arch dam underreciprocating cyclic loading

Abstract: On the basis of study of interaction between steel bar and concrete under reversed cyclic loading, a reasonable model was adopted and modified. The calculations and analyses on the regulatities of slip, stress and bond length of steel bar of joint reinforcement of an arch dam were conducted by the modified bondslip model. The working characteristics of joint reinforcement of an arch dam under seismic loading are preliminarily revealed and some suggestions about the appliation of joint reinforcement provided.
